My daughter has a long pink wig to wear with her costume. When I took it out of the package it is quite messy. I am afraid to touch it. I want to smooth it out so it will lay better under her cowboy hat. Thanks for answers. Appreciate it bunches.

Put some powder or corn starch on it, and then start at the bottom and brush gently!

Try putting some babypowder on it, and using a wide tooth comb or a pick . When you get he tangles out of it, you should be able to dust off the powder with a damp cloth.

Put a little bit of conditioner and comb it with your hands.
