It's not a holiday for dead people, silly! It's All-Saints Day!

In Latin American culture, the Day of the Dead (Día de los muertos) is a celebration on Nov. 1st to honor the dead. Someday you will lose someone you love to death. For me, it's my grandfather. I think it's great to celebrate and honor the memory of our cherished dead loved ones. Halloween is a fun holiday, more so than Day of the Dead, but I don't see anything wrong or creepy about either one. It's my favorite holiday (Halloween).

It was actually an old pagan thing which people carved gourds to drive the evil spirits away. They left food out TREAT to appease the spirits in not doing stuff to them like a TRICK.
People started to dress up to fool the spirits in not bothering them. I guess if you dressed up and saw food sitting out you just helped yourself. So some people started to ask for the food or they would trick you. Catholics changed it to become All saints day. They have always done this.
Since people stop believing in the Bogey man they used the holiday for fun!
Trick or treat.

Halloween, or All Hallows Eve is a celebration where you dress up to keep the dead and evil spirits from coming to cause you harm..
