I've had a similar problem, didn't get fired, but did get harassed and the boss "made sure" I saw a doc about it. Actually firing would be difficult as it would be considered a medical problem that does not affect your work. However it would be considered a nuisance in the work place and avenues for dismissal could be found there. Talk to your supervisor and work out a solution before they impose a solution on you.

Yes you can be fired for this. I think that you should stand on your boss's desk and light your farts while singing the Ramones' "I Wanna Be Sedated".
At least you'll likely get unemployment benefits that way.

Not that it is a pleasant thing to deal with I don't see how it can be the reason to lose a job. Start taking beano or something to help control the gas and get a doctor to back you up on the fact that it is beyond your control. Good luck to you

Depends how bad they smell. Try to have some tact and fart when walking by someone else so you can blame it on them.
