All you need is to appear with a copy of the police report where you called the police and filed a report for the property damage and domestic violence, snice of course that is what needed to happen, so the probation officer and the judge would have a police report and new charges to show he violated his probation.
A witness at a court hearing does not get to use an attorney in court

No lawyer needed. usually about 30 days.
Could have saved yourself a bunch of trouble if you had just called the police and had him arrested.
Which would have violated his probation and woof off to jail he goes. do not pass go and do not collect $200.00.
You might ask his probation officer.
If in fact he is going back to court, his probation officer has to be there. So he will know the date and time.
Even if you go you might not get to speak. Try to talk to the DA before court and let him know you want to speak.

MIGHT go to court? What kind of probation officer does he have? I know where I live, the court system works very slow. I don't know why you'd need a lawyer. What would you need for a defense? Anybody who testifies doesn't have to have a lawyer; unless you're not afraid to "throw-away" some money.

File a police report. If the P.O. won't violate your ex for this incident or incidents, then go talk to his supervisor. Am sure it's against his probation rules. Take care.

You should talk to a domestic violence advocates group immediately. They will help you through the process and make sure you're protected, if needed. You should be able to find one through your phonebook.

The DA, or county attorney is supposed to represent victims rights. You need to talk to that person.

My guess is if you're not sure you need a lawyer, you should err on the side of caution and get one.
