Does anybody know if The Nightmare Before Christmas will be shown on any local TV networks (NBC, ABC, etc) and if not...why the heck not!? It should be mandatory Halloween viewing. :)

If it were to be shown, it's likely it would be shown on ABC since the movie is done by Touchstone which is owned by Disney (for all intents and purposes, Nightmare Before Christmas is considered a Disney film). I have not heard of any plans to air it this year, however, since the movie was rereleased in theatres on October 20th in Disney digital 3D.

yes. Tim Burton is very active in the field of stop motion animation. One of Burton's first films, Vincent, is a six minute stop motion animation about a young boy who wants to be Vincent Price. In 1993, Burton produced the all-stop motion animation The Nightmare Before Christmas. The film was in production for three years due to the length of time it takes to shoot stop motion

i no i want to see it soo badly and we dont have the movie...and our local video rental place dosent have it....They better show it!!!

i seen a preview for it on abcfamily..it was supposed to be on..but i'm not sure when..i think they should show it..i love that movie..
