My last period was about 6+weeks ago, maybe 7weeks ago. It wasnt a normal period, it was very, very light and lasted aout 2 days. That was 6/7 weeks ago. A pregnancy test showed up negative and i dont think i am pregnant as i have been there before and dont have the same symptoms. I am also peeing quite abit. Any suggestions??

Do you have a regular cycle anyway? I have a fairly irregular cycle but I once went 10 weeks without a period and others that didn't last more than 2 days. These occurred during times of stress or illness and may be because the body hasn't the strength to lose that amount of blood. The GP said that it was probably because I was going through a stressful time - I had just been ill, moved back to the UK etc.

I took a homeopathic remedy to induce my period after the 10 week delay. It was Graphites - the period came the next day. You may not be a beliver in homeopathy but it worked for me and was less intrusive and time consuming than visiting my GP was. If you don't think that there are especially stressful circumstances behind your problem then perhaps you need to see the doctor.

Hi. I presume it must be hormones. are you stressed that you could be pregnant? if you did a test and it was negative, then i think you body is just reacting from what your mind is constantly thinking and stressing you out. Take it easy. if you are not sure about pregnancy, do another one. It still negative, take it easy...everything should be ok soon.

You could have an infection but take another home pregnancy test just in case because you never know. If it shows up negative again than call your doctor to have tests ran. You never know.

I do that sometimes and the doctor told me that maybe I was under alot of stress. Or that if you gain alot of weight unexpectedly that can cause a hormone change.

You could have an infection, have you been drinking more? The other thing is have you been under a lot of stress lately. Stress could make your period late.

this sometimes happens, since you've been pregnant before and you haven't seen the same symptoms,i will suggest that it might be normal, you might continue having your period after sometime.but if it begins to worsen i bet you, you need to go see a doctor.if you think my answer is the best select me as the best answer.
