Halloween is my favorite scary movie. Something about seeing that mask through a sheer curtain and his silence that just gets to me. I even have the music downloaded on my cell. I went to a haunted maze in a corn field last year. One part of it had the music from Halloween. I was kidding around with my friends and turned the corner and there HE was. You know there are just some moments when nothing but the F word all by itself will do

The old, OLD version of Nosferatu...even though the shots are lackluster at best, consider the fact that this was made in the 1920s and a few of the scenes are quite eerie.
The 1960 version of Psycho is also scary, too. I've seen parts of it and I actually put my head down during the shower scene (where Janet Leigh's character is hacked to death).
Other than that, I'm not a scary movie person.

I dislike the scary movie series. My favorite types of scary movies are the Friday the 13th sequels. The first one is the best and Freddy vs. Jason is the worst. I like most of them though.

My favourite is Cabin inside the Woods even though it's just about further of a comedy than a horror film. Has zombies and the complete lot possible nonetheless it is comfortably first-rate. Insidious used to be as soon as in addition quality. Additionally, The Possession and Silent Hill.

The Exorcist, and The Blair Witch Project, because they are about witchcraft and the devil, and they seem kind of "real".
I also liked The Grudge, I think because it was in Japan, and there is something scary about it being in an unfamiliar place. Plus those people's faces and those noises....yikes.

The movie that gives me the CREEPS to this Day is "CUJO". About a rabid St.Bernard that traps a mother and her son in a little car and won't let them out...Has been freaking me out for 25 years...Its based on a Stephen King novel. Came out in the late 70's or early 80's...

I would have to say American Werewolf in London. Becuse it's a classic, pre CGI. The tranzformation lookes great and very painfull. The Story is well done and it may have you thinking twice about walking alone at night.
