Why do they always make it like the rest of the world gives a rats *** about who their dating and what food they ate...like its soo rediculous.

I do , i think that it is sad that we live in a world where someone like Tom Cruse gets like 11 million for running a 2 hour movie. but yet B*tch when the Enron thing happened (no i am not standing up for Enron) But what kind of world is it that we live in when we are putting people in prison for embezzlement, and they actually preform a useful service. And what do actors and actresses do? And as for anyone who would say "then just don't go see there stuff nor buy there merchandise" I don't think that the poster is saying they shouldn't make any money i think they are just referring to the fact that 3rd world countries are starving and we a giving nut jobs like Tom Cruse millions of dollars, and what is it exactly that he does? I mean 7.5 million to a football player? But lets give min wage to everyone Else that makes the world go around.

I actually get more annoyed by people who gripe about how much celebrities make but then go to the movies. Celebrities lucked out to have a talent that rakes in the dough, just like NBA or NFL players, so I say, more power to em.
As for all the media attention on who they're dating and all of that, the media does that- celebrities do their thing and the media splashes it everywhere
because it sells. Its everyday Joes that make the big deal about whose wearin what and whose dating who- as long as they buy the magazines and watch the shows, the media will splash it. It doesn't have much to do with the actual celebrity. Most of it is made up, speculated BS anyways.

I definitely think that they get paid too much. We live in a celebrity obsessed culture and it's only going to get worse. Things are really off-balance :-( I'm afraid how things will 10years from now....

I don't think so! They really enjoy what they do. And they have fun while they're doing it. And if you were a celeb, you wouldn't be complaining. I'm sure.You're just one person who doesn't care. But I bet there are a lot of people out there who do. You shouldn't complain!!! None of you should!!!

actors are overpaid..sports figures are overpaid and the fans pay dearly for it at the box office.
