i wouldn't recommend one for the following reasons:
LACK of video codec support.
$.99/song??? HAHAHAHAHHA yah right
62k color screen, no thanks
only itunes,,, i hate itunes
video output to tv is 320x240... vhs quality
audio is ok, i dont like it no bass
no custom eq
no wma
such a hassle to convert videos to supported format limewire movies and videos wont work(free) as the types arent supported
ipods bad history in battery life
NO OPTIONS you cant even customize the theme or backgrounds
no zoom on pictures

PROS: sleek and shiny and easy to use

Now the better mp3 player Creative Zen Vision M Pros:
262k color screen, GORGEOUS SCREEN
HIGH output to tv 640x480
Supports 7!!!!! video formats.. meaning free videos off of limewire will work
Awesome sound quality
easy to use
NO software needed. you can just use windows media player or drag n drop
very durable
batteries are actually reliable
zoom on photo
fm radio
mic
zoom on videos
4 hours some have gotten 5 hours of video playback
6 themes, backgrounds
customizable menu
usable with MANY AND I MEAN MANY music stores such as yahoo unlimited, napster to go, music match, urge, and more
and a couple more reasons.

now which would you get? btw creative is in second place in the hard drive based mp3 player market. apple only in first because the ipod looks nice.

Cons: a bit thick but its comfortable, its about as thick as the 60 gb ipod/ and thats about it.

I have the new 80gb and love it.

I have downloaded movies from a few different sites. I don't use shareware sites but there are several out there where you can download movies from to import into itunes.

The on screen resolution is really good. I have also watched movies from the ipod on my TV. With some movies it gets a little grainy but overall is good.
