I shave...down there...and on my inner thigh, RIGHT were my underware sit, I think i have an ingrown hair. But Ive NEVER had one this big!!! Its a little bigger than the size of a nickle and I dont know what to do. I tried popping it, but NOTHING is working. I have cystic acne on my face, and everyonce in a while i get these HUGE zits that look the same as that monster thats down there. It hurts SOOO bad and I dont know how I can make it go away! Ive only had it for maybe 2 or 3 days but its driving me INSANE! It hurts SO bad. URH! It hurts to walk...sleep. Anything. Im pregnant and i have an OBGYN appointment the 1st. I want it to be gone by then bc i dont want the doctor digging around making it hurt worse. Id rather do it myself. PLESE HELP ME! Thanks in advance! Jerr.

get a VERY WARM (as hot as you can bare) wash cloth and apply to area. Keep applying warm water after it starts to cool. Your pores should open up after a while and after wards, you could try digging the ingrown hair with a tweezer then plucking it right out.

I feel aweful for you! I had the same thing, and couldn't walk for days! Couldn't go to work or anything! I ended up going to the doctor and getting it lanced! It was the most painful thing! Worse than child birth, and I mean it! I found out after the fact, that tomatoe juice will draw it out! It is most likely infected by now too, so try putting honey on it, alternately. It is a natural antibiotic. Use hot damp towels for the pain and some ibuprofen or other OTC pain meds. I really hope this works for you sweetie, good luck!

dry applying rubbing alcohol(hydrogen pyroxide) to it 2-3 times a day with a cotton swab or make up pad. it should help decrease the inflamation and loosen up the hair follicle. this has really helped me in the past with ingrowns. also, try not to touch it to much. you risk infecting it. you can apply aloe vera gel or witch hazel to cool it down if its hurting.

good luck

it sounds like a boil...and your doctor probably needs to lance it and put you on antibiotics to keep the infection out of it...it is pretty common ...I had them when i was pregnant

i think your OBGYN is the best fitted to help you. lots of women and men have those. dont be shy, youll have to spread your legs sooner or later. maybe he/she can give you some tips to avoid that later on.

well, good luck.
