Hey guys, i was wondering how long it takes postcards sent using normal methods (stamp and put in the mailbox) to get from Montreal to Calgary.

Canada post guarantees delivery between 2 major cities of different provinces within 2 days. You just happen to mention 2 of the cities the consider major.

OH?? lol I looked again and the quick answer is 2 to 7 days. And looking at the grid and doing the calculations I change my answer to 4 days. (My understanding would be a postcard is now the same as a letter - that's the rate they charge you.)

Feel free to amuse yourself like I did at this link if you want to know more.

About 4 days. There's no guarantee on time and it may get there sooner or take longer, but 4 days is the general time period. The 2 days mentioned earlier was for Express and the 7 days was for Parcel post. The weight limit is 30 grams, not 20 but the postcard should be rectangular and a basic size. Then the cost is a .51 cent stamp. Also, ground and air are never specified on Letter rate mail.

Mail delivery for Canada Post is unreliable especially for Postcards - some of which never get delivered.
I suggest that Postcards be mailed in an envelope.
