From serious drama, to horror/fantasy, to comedy, to scene stealing cameos, to Bond villan, to voicing animation. The mans talents seem to hold no ends. What do you think the best Walken perfomance is?

Oh and if you get the chance, have a look at the 'Snakes on a Plane audition' on You Tube with the impressionist doing Walken, Nicholson, Pesci etc. all auditioning for S.O.A.P. It's hilarious.

There is no question in my mind...The performance that turned me onto him from the start, was his leading role in Stephen King's classic "The Dead Zone"!!!!!
This is one of the most underrated, amazingly haunted performances of all time!!

I love Christopher Walken, and for me he is fantastic as a bad guy.
I have two favourite perfomances by Walken. The first is Johnny Smith in 'Dead Zone' ,unusual as he is not a bad guy, and he really gives a bravura performance of a man who has lost several years, his life, his girl everything. He is also supported by great acting from Herbert Lom and Martin Sheen.
The second is the Bond villain Max Zorin in 'A View to a Kill' - ruthless! He completely stole the show!

A toss up between The Deer Hunter and The Dead Zone, but CW is always worth a watch even opposite James Bond.

I don't know that Christopher Walken has had a single best performance in his career. He did win an Oscar for "The Deer Hunter", but he's also been great in "The Dead Zone" and "Biloxi Blues".

Blast from the Past, as Calvin Webber. A good enough film with Brendan Fraser but it was Walken who stole the show.

"At Close Range" - Chilling performance as a cold blooded leader of a theft ring. Well made movie that is based on a tragic true story. It also stars Sean Penn and Christopher Penn (as his sons). Madonna's "Live To Tell" was recorded for the film.

I would have to say the prophecy Christopher Walken's playing Gabriel the angel of death. he was so kick ***. I also liked that music video by fat boy slim (I think that was them) Christopher Walken's dancing all around. I don't care what any one says he is hot.

For me it has to be as Max Zorin in 'A View To A Kill', closely followed by 'Sleepy Hollow' as the Headless Horseman, both very good performances and very good movies.
