You best things to give out at halloween are usually bubble gum and lollipops, because we don't know whether or not that child is allergic to peanuts, choc etc. I usually ask if they are I do give out some chocolate but most the kids I know in my complex so i know who is allergic to what.
For the little little guys... I give safety pops.. they are lollipops with loops for there little hands.

I got a variety, and Im making up snack bags...so they get a little of everything. I dont get very many trick or treaters, so I wanted to make sure that the ones I do get, will get a good treat!

Recess and Butterfingers are popular.
No tootsie rolls I would always pick those out when i would trick or treat.
On second thought you can just get one of those giant variety bags at Costco and your done...

I would get chocolate. I wouldn't go for anything that has peanut butter, though. Too many kids are allergic. Go for twix, milky way, hersheys, three musketeers, etc.
