drink a lot of water I would recommend tht you put 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar (Heinz) and 2-3 tablespoons in a cup of hot water it tastes like apple cider and it is like giving your system a douche. It helps many things and it just might help that too. good luck.

If Morphine didn't help, then you're in some deep s**t. When I had mine, they gave me some sort of dirivitive of Morphine and I felt NO pain until about 2 hours later when it totally wore off. I couldn't get any more of that good stuff...LOL.....but I did get a prescription for Vicodin. That did help and ALMOST eliminated all the pain for about 4 hours at a time. I feel for you. I'm 47 and had my first Kidney Stone about 1 year ago or so. But yeah, anyone can get them. Talk to your doctor and don't put it off. There is nothing in this world that is natural that you can take for the pain, sorry.

I hope that you were referred to a Nephrologist (Kidney Specialist). If not, ask your primary care doc for a referral. Meanwhile, ask for better pain management, as kidney stones are known to cause extreme pain. There is a procedure called Lithotrypsy, which is a painless ultrasound procedure to smash the stones into tiny pieces so that they will pass painlessly. Drink plenty of fluids. Make sure your doctor knows all the medication, over-the counter meds, and vitamins/nutritional supplements that you are taking. Sometimes stones are caused by taking too much calcium, but your doctor can determine this with a simple blood test.

There is nothing that will shrink a stone, if you are lucky you will pass it. If you have multiple stones then you require medical assistance. Perhaps they can do lithotripsy where they use sound waves to break up the stone small enough to pass. Or while at home you can drink a bunch of water in hopes of passing the stone. If you are in screaming pain you need to go to the ER for assistance.

And you weren't sent home with any pain meds? Then you need to go back to the hospital. They have much better drugs than morphine. Like Dilaudid and Fentanyl. Kidney stones are horribly painful.

I've heard that lemon juice can help dissolve kidney stones. I saw it in an article on my yahoo home page. You might try some organic apple cider vinegar from a health food store. I know that vinegar dissolves calcium and stuff.

See a doctor fast.
If you need to, call 911.
In the mean time if you can take it try lemon juice. This is my only suggestion since I'd assume it'd help to soften them up a tiny bit.
