honda pp trans not shift ing rite?

trans not shifting rite rpms to high when shift and today noitced dark thin fuuid coming out of tube attaced to left side of firewall.and light came on a\tfluid whaats this mean

Change the fluid and filter and give it some Lucas trans additive

Dark icky smelling fluid means the fluid is burnt. I would say the trans is slipping and burning. You may save it with a fluid change and an adjustment. But it sounds like bad news to me. Hope this helped.

check the transmission fluid. I think your running the trans with too little fluid. you might of killed it.
