I like the loose powder, but to make it look the most natural you need to apply it with a sponge that is slightly damp and then dust any power particles off with a powder brush. It will look so natural you will forget you have any on.

I've used both, actually...the pressed powder tends to have better coverage, and the even coverage will make your skin look more even-toned. But it's easy to put on too MUCH when you're using pressed powder. It can look like it's caked on.
Loose powder can be messy, but it looks more natural (at least to me it does). You have to pay close attention when applying, though, so you are sure to get good coverage. This will also vary depending on whether you're using the "pouf" that comes with the powder or if you use a big powder brush to apply it. (The pouf will give more coverage, more like the pressed powder.)
You may want to try using the pressed powder, but after you apply it use a big powder brush to blend it a bit. Only takes a minute, but it makes a big difference.
I would use a little concealer under your eyes if you have dark circles (is this what you mean by your eyes looking drowsy?), and also use a light colored eye shadow cream and dab it on the insides of your eyes, blending it toward the bridge of your nose. This will kind of brighten up your eyes...

Well, the best way to get that "natural" look would be to let it be natural! If you must wear something though, I would try a semi-shimmery loose powder mix, like maybe a bronzer, so it has that sun-kissed natural glow to it.
To make a wide nose smaller, draw attention to your eyes or lips. Wear a berry-red lipstick, so people notice your lips instead of your nose. Or, you could always make your eyes look as though they're farther apart, which would make your nose look smaller. To do this, use a light color all over your eyes, and to the outer edge, blend in a darker shade of eyeshadow. Or, you could do the "cat eye" like they did in the sixties; thin liner on the inside, but bigger as it goes out! It will look totally glam, and it will also minimize your nose.
Good luck to you!

Loose Powder is definitely better. You can try Bare Escentuals I.D. Foundation and MIneral Vail. This makes your skin look smooth and fresh, without the feel of heavy makeup. It's great when used with their Kabuki brush.
I think you can get the at Sephora.com or any Sephora stores.

loose powder works better and to make your nose look less wide use a brownish colored blush along the sides of your nose so it looks natural. It makes your nose look thinner.

for the face, Benefit's "some kinda gorgeous" is the best I have EVER tried, and believe me i've tried everything out there. It like a foundation/ pressed powder. i don't know how they do it, but it only comes with one color and blends perfectly into any skin tone. I know you don't like foundations, but you will love this. It works wonders, trust me!

i've always liked loose powder. you get a nice, natural look - pressed powder can get caked on looking. for your eyes, try lining them with some eyeliner and put on a little mascara. it should brighten them right up!
