Bush referred to Google as "The Google" while being interviewed. He also, on more than one occasion, has referred to the internet as "the internets" - like we have more than one. Isn't it a bit scary that our country's leader is ignorant when it comes to well known technological lingo? I mean really, when my 80 year old Mom talks like that, it's cute. But when our president does it - I think it's scary.

How scary was it when he insisted that Sweden is a neutral country and had no armed forces, and refused to hear that it was actually Switzerland? The fact that someone so ignorant and incurious has so much power is frankly terrifying.

It's obvious he's trying to appear as a normal dude. The man has never used the internets to go to the Google in his life. Speaking of...I'm going to go to the Google right now. Think I'll use the internets.

Not very. How many seniors do you know that are comfortable with and knowledgable about the Internet? Especially ones that have been effectively isolated from everyday life since 2001. I doubt he knows how to operate, say, a dishwasher, either.

What's more scary is that the guy doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut to keep himself from looking like an idiot.

Made me feel good though. I may not be the most computer-literate person in the world compared to a lot of people, but its comforting to know there's someone who knows less than I do. Come to think of it, he knows less than my neighbor's dog!

It's very scary, as is nearly everything he does which includes his handling of the Iraq War, Hurricane Katrina, North Korea, the environment...

It could be worse. At least he's not a self absorbed douchebag that goes around labeling people as "jerks" on the Internet. You, on the other hand, well.......

I heard the vice presidents wife ( Mrs Cheney) make a comment about googling on the radio yesterday. I find it reassuring that our current leaders are just regular people who live their lives much as we do. The previous administration was mostly makeup and mirrors in my opinion

At least he uses them. That scares you? I'll admit it is pretty funny, but scary? No.
