Well,I am a bit older than you.I'm 53 and recovering from Angioplasty after a heart attack. I am off work which is a pleasant change from getting up at 6am every morning. I have now modified my diet and taking more exercise. When I was a lot younger I lived a riotous heavy drinking, girl chasing existence. As a result a lot of people were hurt and my health damaged and many good opportunities lost and time wasted. It takes love, courage and endurance for a man to go out and provide for his family. Every job becomes boring. I had many different jobs and usually enjoyed the first six months as they were fresh experiences and new friends. After that they became boring and repetetive. It does keep you on your toes-and makes life more interesting if you can do that -seeking out new jobs. A close family and friends to support you is very important to a happy, fulfilling life. Since I have recovered from my alcoholism and am now 20 years sober I now realise that what I always needed was a faith in a Power greater than me. An all powerful spirit of creation or God if you like. My hackles always raised if someone tried to talk to me about God. I used to think nobody had the right to tell me what to believe in or pray to. I never listened to anyone least of all my father. So I became an empty, sick husk. Only God could have saved me from the things I went through. And he did......
I now know God as Jesus Christ. I haven't been to church for awhile. I am not a Bible puncher. But I can tell you for certain that The Four Gospels of the Bible are true. If you want a fulfilling life then try a prayer. My prayers were answered and I'm sure God is as interested in you as he is in me. Maybe its time to try a prayer-see what happens...

Yea, seems like that most of the time, thats why you have to make the most of your free time. Maybe go out to lunch someplace nice on a sat /sun. Go shopping for yourself and not the weekly stuff. Go to a movie or concert, have a drink in the pub with friends. Walking in the country// seaside. Bird watching. Do one or two of these at the weekend and it,s bloody Mon/d and work again before you know it, but at least you would have done something YOU like, and thats important.

Work completely ruins my life I HATE IT!! I just watched the celebrity golf thing itv, and the presenters mentioned many times on Alice cooper plays golf 6/7 times a week, it really brought it home the fact that when you have large sums of cash YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU WANT IN LIFE, Gotta say i would'nt be playing golf , how nice when you have that choice!!
