I am definitly going to my friends birthday party, I rarely go to parties! But this girl I cant stand will be coming to. She wasnt really invited in the first place. My friend told her that she could only have a certain amount of people come and she was not invited. Basically, the girl kept bringing it up throughout the week and finally got on my friends nerves. She was invited and she said she is more then likely to come. I hate this girl! She whines and complains all the time (she always has a whiny tone when she talks)! She thinks everything should go her way! When she asked my friend if I was coming and my friend said "yes, she is the first person I wanted to invite", she said "ioh" in an snooty, rude way. Anyways, how do I put up with this brat at the party?! Its not to long, but Im worried that I wont have a good time because of her! Plus, she will be tagging around with my friend and keep me away. Any suggestions?

Okay, I don't know the history between you and the other girl but it seems like she is trying to ease her way into your friend's life and push you aside. Girl, you better stand your ground if she is one of those ditzy, preppy spoiled brats, then use intellect and make her feel, well, stupid and that should definitely get your point across.

I say ignore her and don't worry about her. I know what it's like to go to social events and find someone that I'm not really fond of. I just bring myself to realize that I'm going to have a good time whether or not this person comes. I mean, that's why you go to parties. To hang out and have fun. It would be a terrible idea to start something that you might regret later. Besides, your friend didn't want to invite her in the first place, so i really don't see this girl being able to win over your friend.

Screw her! I'd go and tolerate her for your friends sake. You don't want everyone at the party to remember you were the one to reunion the party if you two get in fight. I'd be nice to her for your friend's sake. The other chica will be surprised because she expects for you to say something to her so just do the opposite and catch her off guard, Don't try to avoid her this is what she wants. Just go and enjoy the party like you said it's not for very long and I'm sure you have other friends who are gonna be there that you can talk to. HAVE FUN AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

1. I'm sure there will be enough people there that you don't have to worry about her.

2. If your friend made the decision to invite her then you should just support her decision.

3. If your friend hangs out with her more that's her decision too... it IS her birthday after all.

Point is- who cares about one day/party? Be the bigger person.

Oh gosh. Been there, done that. This girl I absolutely hate was at my friends party. The odd part was that she and I used to be the best of friends until we got into some argrument that broke us up. I just ignored her the entire time. Of course she kept taunting me and saying my secrets and embarassing me but just ignore her. Just tell your friend how you feel about her and everythng will be alright.

Kill her with kindness, she'll feel like an idiot if she is anything less than kind to you. Also make sure you look and feel your best, bring another friend just in case so that you can stay long enough to let your friend know you love her and leave before this idiot gets on your nerve.

Honey, go to the party and don't worry about the girl. If you pay any attention to her, you ain't doing nothing, but giving her the power to take over you. She's nothing if she hasn't said anything to your face. Now, it's different if she did but that's a different story so we don't need to get into that. But have fun girl and good luck!!!

You have 3 options:
1. Stay home
2. Go to the party and let her annoy you so much that you have a rotten time.
3. Go to the party and behave like a gracious, polite, courteous guest. Rise above it.

Why would you let someone "get on your nerves" and keep you from enjoying your friend's party. It's as if that person is in control and you're buying into it. Take control, ignore pettiness. Life is too short!

Ignore her..if she is as bad as what you say she wont go or she wont stay long..your friend will be too busy hosting her party to entertain her all night...Dont let the brat spoil your night.
