My guinea pigs started losing fur because they had mites and were itching so hard their own fur came off. I took them to the vet and she gave them shots to get them better, and so far it has worked. My guinea pigs seemed healthy too so I bet that is what yours have. I hope they feel better!

Mites or a fungal infections are more than likely causes for this hair loss. Endocrine disorders may need to be ruled out as well. Your guinea pig needs to visit the vet.

how old is the guinea pig? if its old its just from old age. but if not it could be mites which could be caused fromt he bedding you use. try changing the brand of bedding and take it to the vet. or if you dont want to pay, phone a vet and ask they're opinion.

It might be from not enough vitim c you could try giving it oranges
or vitim's in its water or food that is recommended by your vet.
Another problem could be that it is stressed! Some times new pigs get stressed after moving to a new home! But first i might try the Vitim thing and if that doesn't work then i would consider taking it to the vet.
