My advice to you is to CLOSELY watch your body for any signs for problems. I kept ignoring the signs for 2 years, and try to tell everyone about my experience. I spotted for weeks on end. I went into depression and am now on anti-depressants to help combat that. Also, my hair started falling out. I have been off of depo for about a year. My hair has stopped falling out, but it is still VERY thin. I don't know if it will ever come back. The depression is still an issue. I went to numerous specialists thinking that I had some kind of thyroid disorder. The doctors will not tell you about this stuff. My friend had similiar problems, and it affected her joints. Please watch out for some of these symptoms, and don't take them mildly.

I used to bleed on TriCyclen because of horomone changes, maybe Depo isnt the right combo of hormones for you, you shoudl get that checked out. if you just started it however, it is normal and give it 3 months for your body to get regulated. breakthrough bleeding is common, and does not necessarily mean that the pill/shot/patch isnt working. make sure you check with your dr.
