Your daughter is just getting older..What you need to think about is potty training her, providing she's ready and showing interest of being potty trained. Or like a couple people have already mentioned as far as your daughter is concerned you are interrupting her play time. Don't you get irritated when someone interrupts you for something you think is non-sense?
Explore with your daughter to see that she may be ready to potty train..Don't force her if she isn't ready. So many parents rush their child into potty training when they aren't ready, which explains why so many have accidents. I'm not talking about waiting until she's 3-4 years old to potty train! LOL Good luck.

I can't believe your daughter waited until 14 months to do that. My boys started that at 7 months. It is a nightmare changing diapers. I have a toy that is only used at the diaper changing station. It makes it a little easier and I have learned to change diapers very quickly.

Yes I have when I was working in a daycare center. The reason the child doesn't like getting his/her diaper changed is because they don't want to stop playing with his/her friends. Also if they think you don't know about it the longer they play. Your daughter will grow out of it.
Good luck

Most kids are like that.
Kicking and screaming the whole time but once that diaper is on--they're all better. Funny how that works :-)

Hello,
Yes, my twins cry, turn on their tummies, reach for things hanging off the diaper caddy. And, they hate being changed into their clothes as well....any my twins are 11.5 months old. But, this has been going on since they were 9 months old. I do sing to them, give them a toy to play with and sometimes this works........
Hope this helps you and I hope they will grow out of it.....

She simply does not want to take time out to do this, she wants to play and finds her diaper being changed a bit of a hassle, sounds like she could be ready to get potty trained, girls usually learn faster than boys, You should give it a go!

Try singing ABC song or count and be animated, it distracts them from kicking and screaming, well, at least it worked for me. Good Luck!
