Just look for what you have lying around the house. The best costume you win for is stuff that you have lying around the house. Trust me anything that you have lying around the house will always work. Use clothing that You and make up a costume name. Say that you are a aqua princess or what ever you can really think of. That is what I would do.

I once one a costume contest by showing up as a "housewife". I dressed in a long flannel nightgown and terry cloth robe, put those big, pink cushy rollers in my hair, and some cold cream on my face.
