By numbers, 1 GB is 1024 MB, Whereas 2 GB is 2048 MB. If you want to see what the numbers in KB, MB, GB, TB, etc...take a calculator (Use the one in Windows XP) and multiply 2 X 2 to get 4...another 2 for 8 and another 2 for 16 and so on. If you know your powers, 2 to the 10th power is 1 MB, 2 to the 20th Power is 1 GB and to the 30th power is 1 TB and so on. If you wanna know more on what comes next, go to http://www.alltooflat.com/about/faq/ and look at about the middle of the screen for the question What comes after a terabyte?
