I blame Congress. They voted to allow credit card companies to raise their rates to an outrageous level. They also deregulated gas and electricity. We have only seen the beginning. As for the world taking away options, that's a global thing not an American phenomenon. Why? For the former problem greed, the latter, fate.

Pick yourself up and don't stay down. Whatever the problem is, try to correct it and then make sure it stays that way. Most Utilities companys don't give a rats *** if you are low on cash. They want their money. They have been ripped off so many times, that they have had to develope this new strategy of being hard on everyone. SO the only thing you can do, is get up. Don't let the world kick on you, because they really don't care about any of us. It is one on one. You mention being low on cash. If there are other adults in your family, then they need to pitch in and help you. Make a good budget and stick with it. When the bills are due, pay them on time and do not go over the due date. This may mean, that your gonna have to work two jobs. Make all the adults help make ends meet. In time you will be soundly on your feet. Then don't let them kick you down again. The important thing is that you pick yourself off, brush off the dirt and continue on. But do it wisely and do it your way. Good Luck.

Wildflower is right! Because, "what you focus on expands." This simple law of attraction has been discussed by many authors. (off the top of my head- Wayne Dyer, Alan Cohen, Esther Hicks).
When you are low on cash, you are focused on being low on cash. Therefore, you continue to be low on cash. Fortunately, it also works the opposite way. If you are low on cash, focus on all of the things you DO have. Picture life being easy, and money coming in. Pretty soon, it will.

The reality of it all is a lot worse actually.
The "world" doesn't care!
That's what is difficult to accept. Because we are down, everything happening around seems that bit more difficult and crazy. It's just our perception of the world that has changed. The world continues by us... ignoring us most of the time.

It often feels like that because many people seem so mean these days. They don't care about hurting someones feelings or calling them a name. It is sad that the world is so self absorbed that we don't have time to help each other anymore.

The more the republican mindset takes hold in America's consciousness, the more you will see this sort of thing.
It's ironic that many republicans don't believe in Darwinism, because their policies all seem to be based more on Darwin's survival of the fittest rather than Jesus' "give all you have to the poor and follow me."

Thoughts create reality......
Make a list, get organized.... visualize in your mind what it WILL be like having "whatever"..... and it will show up eventually.
THINK POSITIVE.
I mean, rewind, what thoughts have you been having the past few months? Change them into something believable, but positive for yourself.... focus.
FEARS are magnetic.... release them.

People are out for themselves. No one seems to care about the struggling guy. It is a sad, sad scenario that we live in.

When you're down, it doesn't have to kick as high and takes full advantage of this.

Nah. They also kick you when things are going well, and they do it for no reason, even if you aren't hurting anyone.
