No, he's very much alive today. Paul Berear (William Moody) is currently running his own promotion, Gulf South Wrestling, & is currently in the Funeral Business. He has had several surgeries for the past few years to save his own life & is now down to about 300 lbs. Any possibility of seeing him back in the WWE is very unlikely at this time because the company decided to terminate his contract in April 2005.
