I been reading a few of these post and everyone seems to say go out to bars, clubs, etc... My question is how do you make friends at this bars and clubs if you do not know any there. Do you just walk up to someone and out of no where start talking about nothing? Or easy drop on someone talking to someone else? The reason I am asking, is because I need to meet new people and make new friends. The friends I have do not like to go any where but the same crappy bars and clubs. Most of them smoke pot and which I do not. So most of the time they are all at a house getting stoned.. I guess I am just the odd one in the group. So what do you think I should do?

I always show myself as being approachable, show myself able and willing to offer what I seek in someone I wish to acquaint myself with, associate myself with, become a buddy to or be befriended by/befriended with, should I see anyone ready to accept me extending myself in either type relationship. I've never entered either bar or club scene in hopes of finding anyone, unless you count Internet forums. I cannot walk, so I cannot physically walk up to someone but when I'm out, I do find myself walked over beside and spoken to as someone says "hello". Sometimes, my wheelchair is made mention, other times it isn't. Many people speak on my looks while others offer me God's blessings.

I'd suggest to you going to places you'll find people who share interests you yourself have, and make your presence known. You should be able to make some new friends that way.
