I know i can see it at start-up in my bios...but i want to know if it is possible to get that info while running windows, like a pop-up screen or something....fan is failing and i would like to monitor the temp as much as possible...and yes...I will be purchasing a new fan soon.

Yes, Speedfan works pretty well. It doesn't give a completely accurate reading on all systems, but will monitor case temp, CPU temp, etc.

There is a really great site which has all sorts of software you can browse and choose from. Some if freeware and some is shareware, in which you can download and use for a period of time but if you decide to keep it you have to send in payment or some of all features stop working. You can get the winzip program there and many other utilities. You can keep using the winzip without sending in any money, when the screen telling you your time has finished just wait a moment and then click on "keep using evaluation version".

You can put in a search word(s) at the upper right hand corner to look for specific software or you can browse categories. I have found a lot of really great software at this site.

Yes. There is a program that displays the computer temperature (as well as other information) on the desktop. Unfortunately, the name of the program slips my mind. If you search hard enough I am positive you can find it. But yes, it is possible I know for a fact.

yes try dl a free program called speed fan it s cool what u can do with this
