That is almost a useless search. At best the IP address search will get you and ISP location. If you was to trace my IP it would get you to the AT&T center in Ok. City, OK. That is a long way from my location.

With Spammers and Scammers it is even more useless. These people use hijacked computers to forward their email through several countries and ISP's prior to you receiving it. At best you will know the last ISP the Spam or Scam traveled through.

The email addresses on Spam and Scam email are also bogus. As long as it is in the correct format you can use any address as the "From" address. I can send you an email from "oddball@myouthouse.com or .net and you would receive it. I'm sure some spammers BOT will see that address and send it some spam. I hope no one has that as an address.
