At the moment I would say that Iran would be the most significant nuclear thread. Now, while North Korea is relatively harmless now since the sanctions have been in place they still can continue testing (even if the UN told them not to all they will do is provide another strongly worded letter).
Most people would overlook Iran since they don't have nuclear capabilities... yet. It would not be too far of a stretch in the imagination to say that N. Korea will provide nuclear information to Iran and perhaps even Venezuela. In either case, we all should be very worried.
At the moment N. Korea does not have enough significant technology to provide any missle with a nuclear warhead but what's to say they won't have something soon? They DO have the abilities to land a missle on our territory though. So, if they do get the proper technology we might wake up one day and find Seattle or LA gone
In response to Fozio:
The reason we should keep our eyes out on Iran is because, yes, they don't have the technology, but that does not stop them in buying the technology from a questionable country, just like N. Korea. In the past it is known that NK has created and sold many munitions and weapons to other countries and is possible that they will sell it to Iran, which will cause a whole slew of different problems.

Of the two countries mentioned - and therefore excluding other paranoid nations - North Korea as they actually have the capability. when the UK and US were busy distracting the world about WMDs and Iraq and claiming Saddam Hussain was to blame for everything in the whole wide world...diplomats were busy defusing the situation in N Korea where they were threatening their neighbours with a nuclear threat - yep - the one that everyone then seemed so surprised to turn out to be real (as opposed to those pesky missing WMDs (you know the ones destroyed by Iraq ages ago - keep up).
Now Iran - if allowed to get nukes will be triky as they aren't happy bunnies but N Korea leaders are still a little more volatile unless of course Israel starts trying to bomb the crap out of Iran for the sake of keeping the peace - you know Israel the ones with the nukes that no one knows about as they haven't declared them
All a bit tricky might help if US and UK stopped building nukes and then everyone else could start to see how pointless it is having them....just a thought

I have to disagree with most of the answers here saying Iran is the main threat.
Why?
1- Iran is light years away from developing their nuclear technology enough to build an A-Bomb
2- N. Korea has already built a nuclear bomb - they are ready for action
3- Iran claims it is developing nuclear technology for peaceful pruposes, mainly electricity. This of course can not be verified, but at least they claim so, N. Korea admits to developing nuclear weapons and has threatened using them if they were attacked.
Now, which country is an immediate threat? I would say N.K. Iran is no where near making a bomb, according to a CIA study that aired on CNN, they are 25-30 years away!! now, I have doubts about U.S intelligence after the WMD fiasco in Iraq, but at least we know we can play it nice & slow.

Neither - this posturing is typical of leaders of countries which know full well that they are not up to the reality of launching a nuclear attack because the response would be too horrific for them to even contemplate.
Nothing like a good bit of scaremongering to shake the 'big boys' and draw World attention thereby raising their profile on the World stage.
The most significant nuclear threat comes from political posturing by 'statesmen' in other countries for their own internal political gain. One day they will find it difficult with honour to withdraw their statements of threats to other countries - that's when the real trouble starts and they find themselves cornered into considering pushing that little 'chuckle button'!

From present nuclear threat i am afraid it will be Russia at North Seas. Iran and N Korea we look close at. But disasters usually happened at perfectly domestic use of nuclear power (e.g. Chernobyl)

Personally, I think Korea as the more insane leadership, but both certainly are unstable and paranoid.
