A fun but not scary food to serve:
Carve out a small pumpkin.
Make packaged ranch dip (or Any Dip of your choice)
Put the dip in the pumpkin and serve with chips.

Sure. Um try making Bat cookies and some other stuff. Also, look up on: http://www.google.com/ and look up 'Halloween party foods'. Google really helps. Or look at some cook books for some crafty ideas.

take big pretzel sticks and put melted white chocolate on them too look like ghosts and but up fruit roll ups and make it look like a witch broom on the pretzel and use chocolate chips for eyes.
take 3 big marshmellows and stick them together with a toothpick in the middle, cut strips of fruit roll ups and wrap them around the marshmellows like a mummy but leave space for eyes that are just dots of black frosting

Brownie or cookie 'balls' rolled in crushed oreo cookies, with 8 (2-inch) black shoestring licoriche 'legs' (spiders)

pudding with crushed cookies and gummy worms (or spiders, bugs, etc)
mummies
hot dogs/sausages wrapped in refrigerated croissant dough and baked (with or without cheese)
gross punch
7up and hawaiian punch with some ice cubes made with hawaiian punch and put grapes(eye balls) or gummy insects in them so when the ice melts there is a surprise in the punch...

grab the latest woman's world magazine, they had some really fun ideas in there that were easy and not too expensive to make.

pumpkin soup - really tasty and uses up all the pumpkin flesh you scoop out to make lanterns. ok - so now i'm hungry!!
