"Third Rock from the Sun"--love John Lithgow's comedy. Also William Shatner really showed his ability in comedy on it. I think it was on in the last five years. John Lithgow has written some neat children's books too--"Marsupial Sue", "The Remarkable Farkle McBride", "I'm a Manatee", and "Micawber".
