Press and hold down both "Menu" and the middle circle button at the same time for 5 seconds to reset.

put your ipod in reset.
your ipod has a middle botton.
thats your reset button.hold down the middlebutton on your ipod.
until you see apple logo on it.release button .it s reseting.
