I know Chinese, Japanese, English, Spanish, and currently trying to learn Korean. Does knowing these languages help me in getting into an Ivy League college in some way? Also, are there any competitions or community projects that I can do (to help the community) with this multilingual skill? Thank you.

Schools are looking for well rounded students. It's not just about grades and SAT scores. That's where your essay comes in. Students who contributed to the community, participated in student government or sports, etc. have a better chance than a student who merely did well scholastically.

So knowing many languages may help but isn't a guarantee. I would suggest somehow maybe weaving that into your essay when you apply. Why do you know so many languages? What inpsired you to learn so many laguages? What have you gained through learning these different languages? Is this something that would eventually lead to a career perhaps with the UN or the like?

Knowing more languages won't hurt you, but I don't know it will help, either. It's just another piece to the admissions puzzle.
