Can someone give me some feedback on Vonage the telephone service? Who has tried it and why is it better than using a regular telephone company? Also has anyone tried out dsl extreme? I am trying to keep things I need but need to save money as well. I currently have at&t and earthlink. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Been a Vonage customer since their first year. I will NEVER have a traditional land line again. LOTS more features, LOTS better price.
Now understand one thing - different states regulate it differently, but here in Florida, for you to get DSL, you are required to get a regular land line from the local telephone company - which kinda defeats the purpose of Vonage. I am using cable broadband, which kicks DSL anyway.
