Sorry, it depends upon the individual.
I've known Mensa members who couldn't hold a 'relaxed' conversation or handle certain social situations if their lives literally depended upon it.
Book smarts are only one part of the complex equation. And in the real world book smarts only get an individual so far. If a person is incapable of socializing on a level in tune with that the Presidency requires....they're toast

Like the others said, Book smarts arent everything. What is an m.i.t graduate supposed to say when he dosent know wat to do when the country gets attacked by Pissed off (insert enemy), Throw books at them or something.

Not I. I have found most people with advanced degrees have little or no common sense. They are usually liberal and have no concept as to how the real world works.
