Both of my kids are going to dress as vampires for this halloween. We're having a little party, as always, and we're rounding things off with a spooky movie. Last year, and the year before that come to think of it, we watched a Harry Potter film. So this year I thought we could watch something with vampires. One son is 7, the other is 5, so Interview With The Vampire and From Dusk Til Dawn are both out!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, chaps and chapettes :o)

um either way I don't suggest Interview with a Vampire as appropriate for a five and seven year olds. Some scary images and a few mature themes. The movies listed above sound like they would be better for your kids.

Here are a couple of suggestions;

Scary Godmother
Synopsis
Young Hannah Marie's best friends live in the spooky town of Fright Side, a place filled with vampires, werewolves, and other ghouls where it is perpetually Halloween. It's definitely a scary place, but luckily she has her Scary Godmother - an only slightly eerie guardian - to help her through! With this home video release, which is ideal for any time of year, eye-catching computer animation is used to bring to life the beloved series of children's books by Jill Thompson.

Scooby Doo And The Legend Of The Vampire Rock
Synopsis
The franchise continues beyond the live action film as Scooby-Doo, Velma, Fred, Daphne, and Shaggy find themselves in another supernatural quandary that they must once again debunk. This time, the gang and other members of a castle are haunted by a vampire. The vampire can become a bat whose flight speed can outrun the Mystery Van, so the sleuths and their trusty dog better act fast in getting to the bottom of this one. A feature-length straight-to-video animated presentation.
