These questions are extremely easy. Quit being lazy and read your textbook or look them up. If you don't learn this stuff yourself now, you'll be screwed when you go on to more complicated material.

I find that one of the biggest things my students stuggle with is all the math. A lot of them just don't understand dimensional analysis and why chemists use it to solve problems. I have parents who say to me all the time that they don't understand why their child is doing bad in chemistry when they did great in biology. I have to explain to them that it is completely different and a lot of times its the math. The best thing to do when teaching chemistry is to try to get the students involved and interested. I do this by trying to relate things to real life and real examples. It's also good to do lots of demos and labs. I find that the students enjoy labs a lot (of course, they hate the lab reports!) and it's a good way to involve the students in what they are learning.
