I worked at the Herbalife corporate headquarters for a time and I have since signed up to be a distributor (mostly just to purchase the products at a discount) and I can confirm that the success stories are true. The one thing the success stories have in common is the individuals involved all are disciplined, organized, hard working, and they live, eat and breathe Herbalife. That said you can become a distributor at the most basic level, purchase products for personal use at a discount and make some extra pocket cash selling to people in your community... from there you have the potential to grow. To become a distributor all you need to do is purchase the International Business Pack (IBP) [standard size is somewhere around $70 and the mini is around $40, but I can't recall exactly] and fill out the application. Don't let anyone convince you that purchasing "4000 volume points" worth of products is mandatory. Please keep in mind there are some awful scammers who are looking to screw people over and more often you have some very good people who believe a scammer and get other people sucked into the scammer's trap with the best of intentions. Generally the scammers focus will be on recruiting new distributors and getting them to "supervisor status" as quickly as possible. The good people to get involved with will have a focus on getting the Herbalife products to customers. Good people want thier customers to consume and enjoy the products and they use recruiting of new distributors as a way to expand their "sales team". If you have further questions I would be glad to provide you with my contact information. Good luck!

Wake up and GET OUT OF THAT DREAM! Find another dream where you will WORK towards your goals (realistically, and NOT on the basis of some pyramid stupidity).
Find something else to believe in as a business. Have some critical questions to ask the people that are trying to sign you up. What are your most difficult tasks? What is the worst case scenario here? What if NOTHING sells? What if people back out of there sign-ups, etc...
Whatever you do, do NOT quit your day or night job!
