I know this is a kinda odd question but i was just wondering if anyone know of some ways to improve posture. I have had really bad posture for areally long time and i want to change it but i don't know how. It is supposed to be just a matter of retraining your body but it isn't natural to me. If anyone know of anything that will help i would appreciate it. Should i go to chiropractor? Would that help?

I would recommend taking a yoga class. It is great for all parts of your body. Yoga helps you become aware of how you use your body. A person may begin at any age and can go on reaping its benefits. To achieve this, yoga uses movement, breath, posture, relaxation and meditation. Yoga correct posture; strengthens the spine; & eases back pain.

Yes, see a chiropractor. Your back is probably out because of the bad posture and needs to be fixed. I am going to one now and am feeling much better!!

Take Belly dance!! The first thing a good teacher will cover is the correct way to stand. After you spend a few weeks working on that, you will never have a posture problem again!! (I can still hear my teacher telling me "Ladies don't stick their butts out or round their shoulders! Stand straight! Bend your knees! Lift your chin! Tuck your butt!")
Yes, you have to develop the muscle memory through repetition to see the benefit. It soon becomes much more comfortable to stand, walk and sit and second nature to stand straight and with grace. Good luck!

I swear by chiropractic, but if your posture is bad, maybe your muscles are weak. Go to the gym-- weight training will strengthen your muscles and your posture will improve.

You should maybe go to the chiropractor or just sit up straight at all times and walking straight also. It doesn't just happen over night...
