You frame the pictures properly as you take them and hold the camera steady.
I would get an at least 4MP digital camera with a big enough flash memory to hold 1,000 pictures (1 GB) and enough batteries to take that many pictures.
That way you can check how well the pictures turned out on the spot, and delete those that don't make the grade.
Decorating your scrap book, that is a personal taste thing. I can't give you YOUR taste. ;-)

Find a local photo shop and see if they ever offer classes on photography. My husband and i took one that was once a week for 6 weeks and it dramatically improved our skills. If there isnt time for this then you can purchase a wonderful book on photo composition and other ideas to help.
Here is an easy to understand and well put together book that our teacher suggested that is just wonderful.

They have a used one on amazon for next to nothing.

Decorating your scrapbook is a good question but do you mean the pages inside or the outside of it? I am into scrapbooking right now and have lots of ideas. You can also go look at DIYNET.com and check out the scrapbooking show pages from past shows and get tons of ideas.

Let me know if you mean the outside or the pages. Oh and you can find lots of decorations ready made at Michael's and Hobby Lobby that are Disney themed. Just dont put too much decoration on one page. Less is more.

For camera brands Nikon is really good and so is Olympus. I have a Canon and i am not that wild about it. I like my little Kodak Easy Share better. It is a great camera for beginners and more advanced as it has the option to do your own settings or it has a ton of presets for close up or far away and so on. Get the highest pixel size you can afford.

There is a wishing well at Snow White's castle. Walking towards it from the main entrance, it is located off to the right side. That may make a nice picture.

It is really hard to get pictures there because there are sooooo many people. Your pictures will come out the best if it is overcast the day you go.

Digital cameras are the best, because you can take a ton of pictures and toss the ones you don't like right away. Some of these cameras even have a video recorder that may be nice to have. I would look for a digital camera that is at least 3 mega pixels (4-5 would be better - more flexibility). The digital zoom is not as important as the optical zoom. The higher in number for optical zoom (at least 3x), the better.

Have fun and Happy Birthday!!

Use a digital camera and take your time. Hold the camera steady and be patient. Don't "snap and run" because the photos will be fuzzy and the subject probably not in the shot. You can go on line to Kodak or put your photos on disc and take them to Sam's, Wal Mart or any store that has the form of processing. Very inexpensive and they do nice work. Hope this helps and have a wonderful trip!
