I like being human, with all it's twists and turns. Yes, there are experiences in life which can bring about one's 'downfall' as you put it, but it is part of the human experience.
I think what you are trying to say to us is that you believe that somehow our attachments in this world (sex, fun, etc.) are frivolous and wrong and that choosing to live a life where these are not present, is better, even if only temporary, as it will lead to a better life in some kind of changed world or hereafter as a result.
If these two choices were really in front of me, I would probably delay my own desires for the chance of peacefulness. However, I cannot imagine a new world such as you describe without the better human emotions, such as love, compassion, caring, joy, co-operation, and so on.
The very fact that I have had a full life in the first place leads me to that conclusion. Being human in the manner you describe has had it's advantages.

well for me i would choose a life where i am kind to others and continue my great karma, Heart ache makes us grow and sex is for someone who is married. my adventure would be hiking and caring for our land so there is something for the other peeps who will be coming here.. now that isn't realy luxury to most peeps but our earth is the greatest gift we have an most people take advantage of this.
i do like having that chance of living forever but if my "temporary not so exciting lifestyle was me getting raped every other week" then i'll pass!

i would rather have the "temporary not so exciting luxury lifestyle". life is to fragile to waste it on stupid stuff like that. live life with the feeling of knowing that tomorrow and the future is a mystery that you can not plan with all the luxuries of the world.

Is that chance of living forever, a chance to live a really boring life for eternity? I'm not sure I'd care to exist for ever if there were never a chance for fun sex, adventure, heartache, etc.

How would fun, sex (so long as it was safe), adventure or heartache (a natural part of love) bring me downfall?
I say no to a peacefull easy life because peace is stagnation, there is no challenge, no growth.

Definitely a life full of adventure - climbing, surfing, snowboarding, surfing, street ludge, driving fast, upholstery, knitting, fishing, baking, flower-arranging, settling in a foreign country, saying yes to a marriage proposal, getting a dog, having a baby, looking after the baby, learning a new language, moving to the coast, practising complementary therapy, working in A&E, working with the elderly, doing-up your new house with your beloved, etc...as it generates every human emotion that can ever come out of life.
When you live in the moment, all love and grace and happiness all come into place. And yes, you've lived life.

I would choose a full life because life is full of lessons that we learn from the fun to the heartache there is a reason for everything that we choose to do and to go through.

Well sure I want the life where peace is a part of it, but I dont want to live forever. We have to experience pain, otherwise life would be rudametic and boring
