Nemesis was the goddess of revenge.
But this word does not mean enemy.

For those want to know:
Revenge is not the correct word but i don't know an English
word for the exact meaning. Maybe there is not such a word
in English language.

So I will give you an example.

A drunk driver kills your child with his car.
He is very rich and famous and not get arrested to prove he is drank.
In court they say he is not guilty. When he returns
home he gets killed by another drunk driver
THIS IS NOT REVENGE ---> THIS IS NEMESIS

Another example
A give details to the police for a crime.
The criminal pays someone to kill you.
THIS IS NOT NEMESIS -----> THIS IS REVENGE
