I have noticed that the headmasters don't seem to like objects such as bars and baby items. Make sure you have objects such as: bookshelves and computers and make sure the child has at least a B. They also like expensive objects.
I always have Lobster Thermidor in one of my Sim's inventory (to avoid fires) and put it on a countertop after I give the headmaster a tour of the house. I then serve it and you have to call the headmaster for dinner using the entertain option.
I am sure you will get your Sim into private school.
There is also a hacked computer on the modthesims2.com that allows you to send your Sim to private school however, you have to pay a daily fee. I haven't used it so I don't know how much.
Hope this helps!

spend most of your simoleons on impressive stuff - Sculptures and bookshelves. you can return them before midnight and you'll get all your money back. Greet him at the door, then give him a tour. make sure you show him every room. Keep an eye on the time, and you can't just serve dinner, he won't sit down and eat it if you just put it on the table. there's another option, i think you have to invite him to eat. Have your best cook make your best meal and have EVERYONE shmooze, including any younger kids.

Start making dinner after he arrives. Make sure you give him a tour. show him the rooms with bookcases, chess table, computer, desk, anything school realated. And talk to him and smooze with him. Probably didn't spell that right but you get the point and all this can be done when you click on him.
good luck

Hmm. If you have really lots of expensive stuff and at least 4 rooms, it should be okay. The heady only looks at the room points and possible trash... Also, always cook your best food. Lobster. He loves that stuff. You don't even need to shmooze or something...although he DID fall in love with the lady of the house once...you also get extra points for him being on the swing or in the hot tub :D Of course, your kids need to have grade C+ at least, and cracked .exes also don't work, because the CD recognizes that and one of the errors is that the kid's grades always fall back...

My suggestion is to have someone actually standing outside to greet him when he gets there. When he gets out of his car, immediately have someone greet him and chat with him (or maybe a schmooze). If he gets back in so fast that you can't do anything, ask the sims2 website: www.thesims2.com.

+Make sure one of the parent has good cooking skills when he arrives and have the child or another adult greet him.
+Then have the adult cook a good meal.
+When you give a tour, use every room, (I've found they like b-rooms the best)
+Schmooze about work and school
+Chat with him
Hope that helps, it worked for me, just keep trying!
