Red eyes indicate an imbalance of the liver energy. The eyes are the entryway to the liver. So if there is too much liver energy, the eyes will be red.

If you're liver energy is overactive it's an indication that you don't have control over your stress. On the other side, if you were depressed, then that would indicate an underactive liver energy.

Make sure to deal with issues before you fall asleep to quiet the energy. The liver recharges during sleep and if the issues are still going on when you sleep, then the liver will not quiet down.
