Drive-in movies. Cruising, Hanging out at A&W Rootbeer. Watching Laugh-In on TV. Hanging out at friend's houses. Most people also went to church, we had a lot of stuff happening there for teens. Also they had school dances every Friday night. No shopping malls!

we mostly hung out at the drive-in on the weekends and during the week it would be the 'local' hangout (usually a malt shop type place) - bowling alleys were another popular hangout

In my town it was " The Square" or my house! [ "The Square" was an area of downtown around the county courthouse we sat on the grass and listened to music and other stuff.]
