I never conformed, and I still listen to the likes of Fear and the Sex Pistols every now and then. I hate what punk has mutated into (ie Avril Lavigne?? Blink182??? Green Day?? Are you SERIOUS??!!) . Even though I entered mainstream society that doesn't mean I've changed. Okay, maybe without the mohawk....

Those people probably live the same way and still listen to hardcore (including modern hardcore like bands such as In My Eyes, Allegiance, etc.) I'm saying that because I usually see some people that are like 30-40 years old at shows haha.

You grow up and life changes you. You find responsibility, but still protest in smaller ways, you like the music that still makes you a bit angry, but sometimes you see kids today and say wow was I like that was I that angry?

I agree...the angst just fades...and the music itself is a bit silly.

If they're living the same lifestyle, they're living in a gutter....or maybe a crack house....and they don't own a computer.
