as you would probably save that in heating bills in the first year? and would you believe that I had 8 people refuse to have it installed today and for them it would have been absoluely 100% free!

I can never understand why people don't want cavity wall insulation. If it is no good, why do the latest Building regulations INSIST on it being installed from new. The difference can be quite marked, not just in heating bills but the time the house stays warm for after the heating has turned off.

No you wouldn't save that in a year; a few years maybe. Price sounds reasonable but it depends how good the job is.
I wonder why 8 people refused?
