What is badminton like?

What is badminton like? Is is hard or easy or both?
Thinking about trying it.

Okay, we are playing this game in Individual/Dual Sports at school. For me, it is a super easy game. You have a racket and a birdie. You either play singles, which is you against one other person, or doubles, you and a partner against two other people. With singles, you have to depend on yourself to always hit the birdie. You get the whole court to yourself. When you play doubles, you can rely on someone else, but you can't control what they will do, so if your partner is bad at badminton, just try to do it yourself. I love the game, because it is so easy. I love playing singles because I get the court to myself.

I think it's more strenuous than tennis. The birdie doesn't bounce, doesn't go as far, so you're running around more (all over the court). The rules and racquets are a bit different. I used to like it, but I liked just about every kind of sport ;c)

Both. Great game for non athletes like me, good in the backyard . It was slow & fun. But my HS girls team went to state finals, it was amazing how hard and fast they played.

Are you in shape, agile, and have great eye/hand coordination? If so it is hard.
