I say you are having braxton hicks they are usually painless, but they can make you uncomfortable. they usually occur more frequently when you're active. they say that if this is your first pregnancy it is hard to distinguish braxton hicks contractions from fetal movements and can lead to false labor. It could be both braxton hicks or movements but if you have lost your plug you body is most like have those practice contractions so that you are ready for the big day. call your doctor to get the best opinion. Best of luck sounds like you are almost through pregnancy good luck to you and your family

Okay, if you lost the mucous plug then you may be going into labor but sometimes women lose the mucous plug and do not go into labor for weeks.

It sounds like Braxton Hicks. Time the contractions. If they are regular and they get to be 15 minutes apart or so then I would call the doctor because labor has probably started.

Braxton Hicks are nonetheless contractions and they're doing anything---thinning the cervix, making ready little one for exertions, dilating the cervix. Contractions are contractions and although they're slight you will have to nonetheless attempt to pay concentration on your frame and hold a hard time of them. Good good fortune!

oh, i had this problem yesterday. i was contracting at 3 minutes apart for two hours. i called the doc and they said to go to the hospital. well i fell asleep after that because i have had the flu. i called the doc about an hour and a half later and she said if i could fall asleep they werent real contractions. i was actually dehydrated and my body was trying to get ready for labor. but i am not quite ready yet. i had some intense ones late last night but they were sporadic. i bet your body is getting ready for the real thing.
